Author: CoriDulmage Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.southcarolina.counties.greenville/6505.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: In the Greenville County cemetery survey book 'The Presence of the Past', a Bishop family cemetery is listed with the following location description: "Near Rocky Creek Baptist Church, on left of the highway, going toward Brevard from Cedar Mountain, in Greenville County. At the State Line, house on right, look up the mountain, across the road to the left of this house." The highway in question would be 276, not 25, so this may be a different cemetery. The book lists the following Bishops: Wyley A., Clarissa Tinsley, Mary Elizabeth (Mamie), Benjamin Perry, and William Holbart. The latest burial is Clarissa (wife of Wyley), buried in 1909. I didn't find any other Bishop cemeteries in county cemetery survey books. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to contact me directly.
