Dear List Members: My name is Julian H. Preisler and I reside in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia near Washington, DC. I am searching for a person who can take a color photograph of the exteriors of the two former Jewish temple buildings in Greenville. The former Temple Beth Israel is located at 307 Townes Street and the former Temple of Israel building is located at 115 Buist Avenue. I am researching American Synagogue Architecture and am in the process of creating an e-Book on the subject. Photo credit will be given to the photographer both in the research project and upon publication. If anyone can do this for me or knows of someone who is willing to assist, please do get in touch with me. Photographs can be digital (preferred), but I can also accept regular print photographs and can scan them into the database. I have photographs of most of the Jewish temples and synagogues in South Carolina including the current building of Beth Israel Temple in Greenville but would also like to include photos of the two former temple buildings from Greenville .
