John, I finally had the opportunity to go to the Camden Archives, Camden, SC and check out the book "Waterways of SC" which contains the Rivers, Creeks, Ferry Crossings, etc. Sorry, but I found no Piles or Pyles branch listed. Billie Jones Camden, SC tjones@camden.net
