Hi Suzanne, I am searching for Thomas & Rachel Long. Thomas died around Oct 1824 and I have no idea when Rachel died, I believe around 1840 but not sure. I checked the cemetery survey books that I own and there is no Thomas Long listed. His will was recorded in Will Book B, p. 63 on 4 Oct 1824. His estate file is in Apt 8, file 555 Greenville County. This information came from the South Carolina Archives search page. If you don't have copies of the above, it might be useful to obtain them. The estate file often tells much more about the family than the will. On two occasions I have found the date of death of the widow in her late husband's estate file.
