There appears a William Gunn, as head of household, in Greenville Co SC in 1790, but he is no longer there by 1800. Listed with him are 2 other males over 16, no males under 16, 3 females over 16, none under 16, and one slave. I am descended from a John Gunn, born 1790, Greenville Co SC. I have reason to believe that William is the father of John but cannot verify that. John was probably born after the census was taken, and the census doesn't list if any females were expecting. Does anyone out there have any info on this family, especially where William Gunn and family moved to, or what the names of the other family members were?
