Hi all - I have the information on the William BISHOP who married Frances Louisa Jane MOON and Thomas BISHOP who married Nancy E. MOON. The girls were daughters of Gideon MOON and Lucinda (GREER) MOON. Gideon Moon (1804-1888) and Lucinda GREER MOON (1811 -1891) are both buried on the side of Groce Meadow Road in the old Moon graveyard with his parents; William H. MOON b. VA in 1768 and died 1833. His wife was Martha Knewstep GLENN Moon, b. VA 1771 - 1836. The four stones are still readable and very much intact and are visible from the road. The reason I mention this is because I was just informed that a large housing developement is going in there and I pray that they respect the cemetery.
