This won't help you much as I have not researched the Gunn family, but my ggg grandmother was Lydia Gunn, who married 1st Jesse Carter and 2nd John Hornbuckle, and died 1850 in Greenville SC. She was born abt 1770, and I have seen files where her father is listed as William Gunn and Elizabeth Wickliffe. Susan Finlay
Thanks Susan, I'll file this and hope I can find more info or more people respond with info. It seems that a lot of the Gunn men married Elizabeth's, maybe it was a trend or there were a lot of Elizabeths back then. Thanks again!
