My grandmother was Grace Pauline Grant, born in Clinton, Laurens Co. she moved to Greenville after she married Ode Cox. Her parents were Benjamin F. Grant and Mattie Jacks.     3. I am descended from Mary "Polly" TRAYNHAM (1806-1850) who md. Mastin N. STONE. She was the dau of Wm. TRAYNHAM and Rebecca POOLE TRAYNHAM. William TRAYNHAM was the son of David TRAYNHAM and Karenhappuch VAUGHN, both of whom were born in VA, but were buried in Greenville Co., SC, prob. at the TRAYNHAM Cemetery. There were two cemeteries, but one had to be moved several yrs. ago and was moved to the sight of the other one. I do have pictures of some of the markers.
