Dear Cuz Dolores, I am still trying for proof re "our" Banister Stone ,1816-1902, mar. Millie Johnson, as to who Banister's parents were. If you ever get/have please keep me in mind. Can you tell me who were the parents of Micajah Banister Stone's wife Martha Harris? I descend from Rev. John Harris and I wondered if this Martha was of his line. My grandfather, Worth Riley Garrett, b. Feb. 12, 1896 Ala., left my grandmother and children in the late 1930's in Texas. As far as I know, he was never heard from again. I found a Worth Garrett listed as dying in Greer, SC in December 1967. Is there anyone that can do a lookup for me for the obituary? Worth is such an unusual name, and if this is him, he would be 71 yrs. which makes him a good possibility. I just received a picture from a cousin of him, the first one us 7 grandchildren in Oregon have ever saw of him.
