Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/UeB.2ACI/3046.1.1.1 Message Board Post: I also had emails sent by her address. She did reply back and she said she did not send the emails with attachments but I informed her that her address was being used. I received two from 2 different boards from the Pringle address. The files were hamster.zip and me_nude. I did not open either because of the name and no description was given. Just to note that She is not sending these but have been targeted. She is Completely innocent. I thought I was the only one. Thanks for posting the warning on the board. We may not be the only ones.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/UeB.2ACI/3046.1.1 Message Board Post: Thanks for the info. I tried to e-mail her and I got no response. The reason I suspected that someone was using her name, is that one of the attachments was humor.txt, which I thought didn't have anything to do with the message board and indeed was infected - as all of her e-mails to me were. If she indeed sent me 3 e-mails, and you have corresponded with her, please send her my apologies and have her send me her messages on the message board. I'd be interested to know what she was trying to send me. THANKS!

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/UeB.2ACI/3046 Message Board Post: Someone has targeted me from this message board. They are using Dolores Pringles name. I have e-mailed her and warned her about this. Her e-mail is with AOL. The jerk's e-mail is with sc.rr.com. (That's Roadrunner in South Carolina.) If you receive an e-mail from dolorespringle@sc.rr.com or something similar to that, DO NOT OPEN IT!! These e-mails contain not only a worm virus, but other viruses as well. I update my virus scan daily, so I'm able to catch things like this. I have also e-mailed Roadrunner and warned them about this as well. If you receive an e-mail like this, please contact Roadrunner and let them know.

    2. This is a free virus scan on line and does an excellent job of finding that *little* pesky virus that is causing all the trouble. Just go to this site, skip registering and scan your hard drive. Then everyone will be clean! http://housecall.antivirus.com/

    1. [SCGREENV] Re: Virus
    2. Someone on the list has a virus on their computer. They are probably unaware of this. I think this particular virus takes addresses from e-mail sent to this person which would include any e-mail from this list. If you notice when you receive e-mail from the SCGREENV list, the e-mail of the person who sent it is listed (or it is on my e-mail). If this e-mail is still in the infected person's mailbox, then the virus can pick up the address and send the virus on making it appear that it was sent intentionally from that particular individual. For information on viruses, logon to McAfee, Norton - any of the known antivirus software companies. Suzanne Collins Matson

Also, I understand that Ben "Blue Buck" Masters had a son named Clarence. I was wondering if anyone could provide me with info on C.O. Masters and Ola O'Shields, or the children of Ben Masters. 2. Russell Ashmore
    3. Don, I also have Anna 1865, Sarah A. 1856 and Harriet 1851 listed as children of James D. and Mary Cox, in addition to the ones you listed. This is from the 1870 census. Do you know if these were actually their children, or perhaps grandchildren that they were raising. I am almost certain that Sarah A. was the daughter of their son James D., JR. who died in the Civil War. But I need to find more documention. The names Anna and Harriet are not the same as the names listed for his two other children on the 1860 census. If you can help me with this, I would appreciate it. Marilyn Ashmore

    3. Hi! I have been working on a collection of family history on the Ashmore's of Greenville, Co.for about a year now. I have worked with several other researchers and our documentation has shown that the wife of James is not Elizabeth Balsch, but another Elizabeth, both James were in NC at the same time and married cousins, but James Ashmore and Elizabeth Balsch Ashmore went on to Tennesse and our Elizabeth is buried at Ashmore Private Cemetery in Greenville SC. Her birthdate is April 1740, she married James of Chatham, NC, who was the son of Margaret and Walter of Baltimore Co., MD. There has been much confusion about the two James and Elizabeths who were in NC at the same time, but I think with the help of several researchers around the country we are about to sort it out. Elizabeth, came to Greenville Co., around 1786, with her eldest son John, and his brothers Walter, and James. James of Chatham died in 1785. I have records of his Rev War service. James D., who married! Mary Cox, is the son of John and his wife Jane Brashier, both buried also at Ashmore Private Cemetery. Your James D. and Mary Cox are buried at Reedy Fork Baptist Church. I would love to have any info from any Ashmores out there. I have contacted many through a family history survey. Marilyn Ashmore
