John Foster's daughter named Anna (Nancy). I am a descendant of Clarke D. Perry (born around 1824) who moved to Smith County Texas (around 1854) with his brother J W. Younger brother William came later. According to the Early History Biography of these brothers, their father was Foster Perry. Foster Perry was the brother of Benjamin Franklin Perry, the governor of SC. According to Political Graveyard website, this BF Perry was born in 1805 in Oconee County SC. So would love to have info on Anna and her husband Ben. Hoping they are Clarke's grandparents. Thanks much, Laura

I have Martha's lineage back to Pocahontas. She apparently died in I think Alabama (My records are at home), as they emigrated to Texas, (Grimes County Texas). Both of her son's were in the Civil War. One of them is buried in the State Cemetary in Austin, Texas. I am related to Robert Stringfellow Benson's sister, Dulcebella, who also emigrated to Texas (with her husband, James M. Crawford) to adjacent Washington County Texas. They all were shown in Pickens, South Carolina in November of 1835 at church. Dulcebella and James Crawford arrived in Texas about 1840. I have much more data at home. Robert Stringfellow Benson married two times after Martha Bolling Benson died. ROBERT3 BENSON (WILLIAM PRUE2, ROBERT1) was born February 09, 1762 in Faquier, VA, and died February 21, 1825 in Travelers Rest, SC. Caleb is married to Jane P. Pool. There appears to be a Pool/Holtzclaw connection and with this Pool family. I'll keep a watch for the name in my research of the names in the Neves letters. I have Fews in my data base but I am sure those files are not complete. They relate to the Gilreaths and Chastains, can find no connection with them and your name.
