I was adopted and just found out nearly 9 months ago that I am a Buchanan descendant. I met my birth mother and she gave me a book with names of descendants and their children - but no dates. Here's what I found concerning the list of names that you provided (if you are indeed related to these people - we're cousins!!). William Clelle Buchanan: he married Elsie Ruth Johnson (I'm kin to the Johnsons as well.) Clelle's parents were William Harding Jones Buchanan and Marie Dunn (my birth mother is married to a Dunn). Their children were James Clelle Buchanan (m. Betty Ann Summey) (they had children William Franklin and James Christopher - who is deceased); Anthony Curtis Buchanan (m. Mary Lancianese) and John Mark Buchanan. Clelle's siblings were Richard Curtis, Marvin Carroll and Keith Carlton Buchanan. His grandparents were William Greenberry Buchanan and Lilly Malelle Miller. They were my great-great-grandparents. William Greenberry Buchanan (1864-1935); Lilly Malelle Miller (1870-1943). There's a Grover C. Buchanan listed who married Laura Bryant. He was the son of Joseph Philmore Buchanan (1870-1938) and Jane Hughes (1886-1930). Joseph was the brother of William Greenberry Buchanan. (Making Joseph my great-great-great uncle.) Grover and Laura had a son: Lawrence Buchanan (m. Frances Barnett)(ch. Roe and Tom) Grover married second to Patricia Hill. Their children were: Clarence Buchanan (m. Ruth Hunt)(ch.
