Betsy Waddle and Nicholas Waddle her husband-Possible Spellings Waddell, Waddle, Waddel, Waddill, Waddille-many Waddle relatives changed their names to Waddell Elizabeth Brock b: Aft 1784 in Greenville, S.C., daughter of David Brock 1820 Greenville co., SC census-page 101 Nicholas WADDLe 100010 20010 1 26-45 male, 1 26-45 female 1 male under 10, 2 females under 10 =he's 26, 3 kids 1830-Waddlee, Nicholas State: South Carolina Year: 1830 County: Greenville Township: Unknown Townships Page: 342 1 male under 5, 1 5-10, 1 10-15, 1 30-40, 1 female under 5, 1 10-15, 1 30-40 (Betsy)=5 kids 1832-Campbell County was formed by an act of the Georgia Legislature December 20, 1828 taking land from Carroll, Coweta, DeKalb, and Fayette Counties. Betsy Waddle and Nicholas Waddle her husband -(both still alive) About 1847-Waddell s left Ark or Geo to go to Texas. She died on the way and he turned around to take her body back. Not sure where died or buried. anyone know anything about Betsy, Nicholas, or their kids Maria born about 1818, Alfred born about 1824, Emily born about 1832 and others? Is there any record in Greenville, SC about Betsy or Nicholas in Reedy River Baptist church or Greenville land or marriage records? They probably married about 1817 there.
