He was injured and lost one of his eyes while he worked there and got a glass eye after that. I believe Woodrow was some kind of supervisor. I'll check with my cousin, Ann, to try to find out Uncle Woodrow's siblings. I grew up on Osteen street close to the ball park. Have you been able to find any pictures of the old ballpark, like when it had bleachers and brick dugouts?

My gggrandmother was Temperance Austin who married Squire Barbare, her mother was Nancy Austin. I can't tell you her date of birth or death because I have not found that info and because the census records had her and Squire's ages too confused. By the census they aged a lot in a 10 year period. I haven't been able to get a start on the Austins. I just thought you might have found them in your search.
