Susan I am most interested in your Parks as I have had 32 spellings of our name. From Parks,Parcus,Parkes, Parkis etc. I have a David Pockrus born in SC about 1775 (probably Fairfield Dist) who is married to a Mary. They show up in 1800 census of Fairfield Co., SC, (Pockras); 1810 in Fairfield (Pockras);in 1818 he is in Madison Co., AL and Mary is head of HH in 1850. I have searched for them and every conceiveable spelling before 1800 to no avail. However I have not really searched the Parks, If you can shed a clue would be interested in exchaging notes. Otherwise if you will watch for any of the spellings I would appreciate it. From where did your people come into Fairfield Co., SC? Any help appreciated.
