Thanks for the email address. Your information supplied a lot of information I didn't have. Have I sent you the additional information on Richard Furman's children? I may have told you but I am in contact with a Whittle cousin, 91 and she remembers some of the people I look up. She remembers going to Sardis Baptist Church as a child. They lived in the Batesburg area but Sardis would have get togethers. Her brother died as a child and is buried at the Furman Matthews Cemetery as are two of my grandfather's sisters. My uncle and his wife live in Columbia but their church was going out to have a combination service at Sardis. I'm not sure if it has already passed or is coming up (I live in Florida now). I hope they meet/met some of our Matthews relatives. I wish I could have been there too. Thanks again Brenda
