    3. This was in todays State Paper, May 26, 2007. I have the surnames, but do not connect these. Obit of Edward Mack - "The State", Columbia, SC, May 26, 2007 BATESBURG - Edward Ray Eugene Mack, 67, of 886 HoWen Rd., died Thursday, May 24,2007, at Lexington Medical Center. Born in Saluda Courity and a son of the late Roy Eugene and Eloise Koon Mack, he was the husband of Nannie Bell Renew Mack. He was a logger and was a member of Clyde's Chapel Southern Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Nannie Bell Renew Mack of the home, a stepson, Richard Olin Williams, Jr. of Saluda, a stepdaughter, Belinda McCormick of Batesburg, two brothers, Bobby Gene Mack of Ridge Spring and Roy Charles Mack of Aiken, a sister, Thelma Paulette Keisler of Leesville and eight step-grandchildren. . The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Saturday evening at Ramey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 3 PM Sunday, May 27,2007, at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Clyde's Chapel Southern Methodist Church. Obit of A. W. Whittle - "The State", Columbia, SC, May 26, 2007 AIKEN - Services for A.W. Whittle, 84, widower of Frances 0. Whittle, are 2 p.m. Sunday (visitation 6-8 tonight) at Shellhouse Funeral Home, burial: Aiken Memorial Gardens. Born in Ridge Spring to Jessie and Frances Salters Whittle, he died May 25,2007. He was a U.S. Army, WWII veteran. Surviving: children, Marilyn Grant, Stan Whittle; 3 grands, 2 great-grands; sisters, Laveta McAfflany, Helen Sills.
