Did Emily Geiger (Women of The Revolution)married ? Threewits? Debra Maddox Wilson Greenback,Tn

Descendants of both Geigers and Threewits have been arguing about "who Emily married" for well over a century! Some branches believe that she'd married Llewellin Threewits, although she certainly did not. He was married to Ann Mary Geiger as of 1786, had his only child by second wife Eleanor Fitzpatrick in 1789. No time to work in another wedding in that same year. The person most-commonly identified as the husband of Emily Geiger is John Threewits. He is known to have had a single wife Mary Thomas (by whom he had no children), and there is some reason to believe that they were married prior to 1786. Or, at least that SHE was, if not necessarily to him!
