Mamie Estelle Ouzts Collins - daughter of Daniel Ouzts and Fannie Hamilton Ouzts The Augusta Chronicle - Sunday Morning November 10, 1946 - Page 8A Final Rites Today for Mrs. Collins Greenwood, SC, Nov. 9 - Funeral services for Mrs. Mamie E. Collins, 77, widow of John Walter Collins, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at McKendree Methodist Church. The Rev. L.D. Bolt will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Collins died Friday afternoon at the home of her son, Daniel Self Collins, in Edgefield County. She was a daughter of the late Daniel Ouzts and Mrs. Fannie Hamilton Ouzts. Surviving are nine children: Mrs. J.S. Lanier*, Mrs. Curtis Timmerman*, Lake Collins*, and Self Collins*, all of Edgefield County, Mrs. Mattie Butler*, Ninety Six and Mrs. Yancy LaGrone*, Mrs. J.C. Lewis* and R.J. Collins* all of Greenwood and Mrs. Arthur Still*, Edgefeild, five brothers, W. E. Ouzts, Johnston; Meynardie Ouzts and Deedie Ouzts, both of Edgefield; Joe Ouzts, Ninety Six and Gary Ouzts, Greenwood; two sisters, Mrs. Yancey Dorn, Ninety Six and Mrs. Fannie Crouch, Spartanburg; also 34 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. * Mrs. J.S.
