I just received a new book titled "Passports of Southeastern Pioneers 1770-1823" Page 189 Georgia Passports Executive Department, Thursday 4th August 1803 On a letter from General DAVID DICKSON Jackson County 28th July 1803 ORDERED That a Pass Port for WILLIAM DICKSON to travel through Cherokee nation be prepared ORDERED That Pass ports be prepared for the following persons-One for SHERWOOD BUGG BONNER to travel through the Creek nation-One for WILLIAM ROBERTSON Esq. to go into the Creek, and one for DANIEL MCMURPHEY to go to the same place which were presented and signed.
