Dorothy Moody Dorn AUGUSTA, Ga.- Mrs. Dorothy Moody Dorn, 84, widow of the late James N. Dorn, entered into rest on Thursday evening, December 9, 2004 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2004 at 2:00 pm at Platt's Crawford Avenue Chapel with Mr. Pete May and Mr. Lowell Dorn delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery. Survivors include her son, Lowell Dorn; her three daughters, Carolyn Dorn Roberts, Cathy Dorn Carter, and Caren "Oollee" Dorn Bricker and her husband, John B. Bricker. She is also survived by her grandchildren, James Dorn Roberts, Clifford Lake Roberts, Philip R. Roberts, L. Russell Dorn, Jr., and Carolyn Newman Carter; a great grandchild, Jacob Dorn and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Mr. O.T. Moody, Sr., Lucy Sharpton Moody, and her brother and sister, O.T. Moody, Jr., and Hazel Moody May. Pallbearers will be Derek May, Russell Dorn, Richard "Trey" Craig, Clifford Roberts, Bill Ramsbotham, Albert Moody. If so desired, memorials may be made in her name to St. Joseph Hospice, 2260 Wrightsboro Road, Augusta, Ga., 30904, or to the Augusta Training Shop for the Handicapped, 3118 Lake Forest Drive, Augusta, Ga., 30909.
