I think I had previously posted the following death cert. from 1934. However, in the date of death line I typed 1924. Also placed the Elmwood Cem. in Edgefield but it is in Greenwood Co. So here it is corrected: NOTE that the date of birth is 1934 - Death Cert. # 15984, Greenwood SC Abner T. Clegg Male, White, Widowed, Supt. of City Streets b. August 22, 1855, SC father: A. J. Clegg, SC mother: Susan Schenk, SC d. Oct 8, 1934, Greenwood, Greenwood Co, SC cause: lobar Pneumonia informant: Samuel A. Clegg, Greenwood, SC RFT buried: Edgewood [Greenwood Co, SC ] UT: Blyth's Services I cannot find him in the Edgewood Cem. records that I have. When I double checked the info. I noted that that the age at death seemed to be way off from his birthdate given. I rechecked the Birthdate on the death cert. and the Aug. 22, 1855 date was correct as given in the DC. HOWEVER, his age at death was 49 yr. 1 mo 16 days. Which would work, according to my PAF date calculator to be August 23, 1885. Can anyone provide info. that will help narrow in on his dates.
