Mid is buried with his family?? Hopefully someone out there will post the answers to this one. It may be that Hattie Lee Maffett of the cem. record was the wife 1st of J. Mid and later married her brother-in-law after their spouses died within 3 years of each other. PURE Speculation on her 1st marriage. However. the marriages of Julian Odell Maffett to both wives came from the following source: Bible Records Of Elbert Martin Lott from the book "Family Bible Records, compiled by the Old Ninety Six Dist Chapter, SCGS, 1992, p. 107-108... [located in the SCDAR library, housed at the Camden ARchives. I feel sure that Edgefield's Tomkins Library has the same book. Found this in the same Trinity Luteran cem. records.
