Frances Sather and James Felder Jackson married April 28, 1870. Which, at first glance, makes it look like he was married before and Annie belonged to his first wife. So I checked the 1850 -1870 census records that I have and he seems to fit this family, but I still cannot connect his father to the larger picture per my research.
