I have worked with several researchers on the Lott line. It interconnects with several other families that I work on. This is the family of this Jesse Lott (there are quite a few of them) as I have it at this time: Descendants of Jesse Lott 1 Jesse LOTT b: Abt. 1740 d: October 30, 1779 in Edgefield Co, SC . +Sarah [FREDERICK] d: Abt. 1832 ..... 2 Jesse LOTT b: Bet. 1755 - 1774 d: March 25, 1811 in Edgefield Co, SC ......... +Jane [BETTIS] b: Bet. 1755 - 1774 m: Abt. 1781 ..... 2 Emsley LOTT b: November 01, 1773 d: Bet. 1829 - 1830 in Edgefield Co, SC ......... +Silvy HOLSTON m: 1804 Edgefield Co, SC d: Abt. 1824 ..... *2nd Wife of Emsley LOTT: ......... +Dimcy BARRINGTON b: February 03, 1793 in Edgefield Co, SC m: 1826 Edgefield Co, SC d: February 27, 1881 in Edgefield Co, SC Burial: Ward-Satcher Cem., Ridge Springs, Saluda Co, SC Father: Elisha Barrington Mother: Abigail Roberts ..... 2 Winnefred LOTT ......... +Unknown BETTIS ..... 2 Mary LOTT ..... 2 Daughter LOTT ......... +Stephen BETTIS ..... 2 Daughter LOTT d: Bef. 1831 ......... +Benjamin FRAZIER b: 1779 d: 1844 Burial: Frazier Family Cemetery, Edgefield, SC Father: [John Frazier] Mother: Lydia Based on the names of Bond holders or witnesses, they are both Fredericks, possibly her family. I have no other proof of that connections, however it is given in HC Ouzts' Lott file as coming from the LOTT BOOK. Sarah Lott is found head of household in 1790 Edgefield Co, SC with 1m>16; 1m<16, 3 females and 7 slaves [Lott, Sarah 1 1 3 - 7] There are no other Lotts listed in the 1790 census. Date for her husband's death that has been given to me is 1779; therefore, the two sons are Emsley and Jesse. Two daughters and Sarah indicated that one is either married or deceased based on the daughters in her will. 1800 Census for one Emsley Lott has a female over 45 in the household. Possibly Sarah, living with a son. The following Probate record of Sarah Lott provides informatin on the family.
