VA), d. 1793 Edgefield SC) lb John Crouch's tombstone is in Saluda and its dob is 1730, dod is 1791 which agrees with his will. 2. Isaac Crouch [1758](m.1. Elizabeth (b. 1786 SC, d. 11/15/1826 Edgefield SC), 2. Martha, d. 2/8/1840 Edgefield SC) lb It is possible that Isaac married a second time, but at age 75, I doubt that he would have done so. 3. Simeon Crouch (b. 1/13/1806 Edgefield SC, m. Frances (Fannie) Whittle (b. 5/5/1809 Edgefield SC)[d/o Elizabeth & Willis Whittle], 12/27/1827, d. 10/28/1866)[1850][1860] Fannie [1870] Frances L/w Mary & Wade - Mother [1880] lb Edge Marr Both Simeon & Frances Whittle Crouch's tombstones are in the Crouch Cemetery, Saluda. 4. Simeon Reedy Crouch (b. 6/25/1845 Edgefield SC)[1850](m.1. _ , 2. Arabella E. (Belle) Grigsby (b. 1869 Edgefield SC)[d/o Eugenia Elizabeth Smith & Rhydon R. Grigsby]) lb I have never uncovered any other marriage for Simeon Reedy Crouch than Arabella. lb = Long Book Edge Marr - Edgefield Early Marriages by Carlee McClendon [####] - census year they are found.
