Checking out some death certificates on some misc. persons in my FTM file to prove or find missing parents, spouses, dates. This one has so many conflicting dates I am afraid to use one. I even when back and looked up the death certificate a 2nd time to be sure I had not copied it down wrong. Any Trotter or Dominick Bible Records out there to help out. I don't do Dominick research, (yet), altho. (Elizabeth) TROTTER Dominick Her death certificate proves her connection to her parents. There are, however, problems with the conflicting info. on her date of birth from various records. There is also the possibility that she is the same as the Joanna from the 1850 census transcription, which if so, would narrow down the possiblities of her birthdate. Various census records of her family give various dates of birth. HARDY Apr 10 1826 Jan 28 1889 Note the birthdate on the death cert. and the dates in the cem. records are different, as are the estimated dates from the census records. George H. is given as a brother to this Josie Trotter Dominick in my information, but both cannot be born in 1851 only a few months apart [her death cert. and his cem. records.] These types of conflicts drive me nuts. Lots of "facts", none agree. At this time, here is what I have on her parents and siblings. Some siblings may be the same as another, since the 1850 census gave only initials. I am not positive on some of them, that I have attached them right. However, HC sent me the following from the Edgefield Co, Census soundex for 1900, so wonder where they were in 1880?? Probably some weird census transcription spelling I have not thought of!
