Hello: I am currently reading and enjoying The Expansion of South Carolina. Now I need a book on the founding and growth of Charleston from it beginnings. If someone would advise me on a good book with good citations and notes, I would appreciate it very much. Began a sneak preview of the Indian Records Books yesterday. Oh to own my own copies and be able to read them cover to cover. Library does not lend these books. I don't know if they are available from the SC Archives but if so I expect they would chew up next years genealogy budget. Thank you all for the interesting postings.
