Question.. the father of JF McManus.. I have in my file John Samuel McManus...1836-1916. Samuel was with Co C, 19th Regt, SC Volunteers, when he was captured at Atlanta on Aug 21, 1864. He went to MO/KA after the war and changed his name to Linn Andres ... married and started a new family...buried Forest Hill Cemetary, Kansas City, (Jackson County), MO. Does anyone else have this info? Or know anymore about it? I copied this somewhere long ago. He is not my immediate line so I had no reason to dig deeper but if true, its interesting. What happened to wife Martha? and his kids? Ann
