Sunnie Talbert Fisher, daughter of Edward Holmes Talbert of Garrett Plantation and Lemie Mays, granddaughter of William Jasper Talbert, US Congress, was probably the author a set of MAYS family pages in the Tompkins Library in Edgefield. In those pages she refers to the "Family Bible" and "family documents." Are there still Talbert descendants in or around Edgefield? I would like to talk to a family member to get a good citation for the Family Bible if it is still in existence. Does anyone know if the Family Bible has ever been transcribed and published? Thanks!
