Shealy LEESVILLE - Services for Linda Caughman Shealy, 66, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church with the Rev. Gary Brandenburg, Rev. Kathleen Panning and Rev. Joyce Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Nazareth UMC Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Barr-Price Funeral Home Historic B-L Chapel. Active Pallbearers will be Charles Shealy, John Shealy, Pickens Hair, Jeff Caughman, Lance Caughman, Scott Crapps, Jeb Attaway, Steven Wardlaw and Robert Wardlaw. Honorary Pallbearers will be the 50+ Club of Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, Tommy Davis, Faye Caughman and Loretta Riley. Memorials may be made to Ridge Road Community Club c/o Shirley Bedenbaugh, Treasurer, 1419 Ridge Road, Leesville, SC 29070. Mrs. Shealy, widow of Sam B. Shealy, Jr., died Tuesday, February 27,2007. Bom in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Broadus and Juanita Hare Caughman. She was a member of Nazareth UMC and also attended Cedar Grove Lutheran Church. She was a member of the 50+ Club of Cedar Grove, the Ridge Road Community Club and retired from Union Switch and Signal. Surviving are sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael A. Shealy and Amy Lantz of Leesville; Mark A. Shealy of Ridge Spring, daughters and sons-in-law, Melanie and Richard Holstein, IV of Louisville, KY, Miriam and Rod Brenner of Chapin, Marisa and Al Zimmer of Leesville, brothers, Doug Caughman of Leesville, Don Caughman of Columbia, Jim Caughman of Prosperity, sisters, Phyllis Davis, Sheree Caughman and Shelia Caughman of Leesville, grandchildren, Steven, Jacalin, Robert, Alan, Eli, Anna and Levi. Linda was a lifelong member of the Ridge Road community whose friends and family there sustained her during the years following her husband Sam's death in 1999.
