I am famliar with the Berryman and Foote names from my personal research, however, I don't have them back this far. Could this possibly be the original Berryman family from which the name and many first names came, especially in the Bledsoe family of Old Edgefield Dist. ?? Just passing it along. VA to Capt. Benjamin Berryman, b. c1680; d c1729 (will proved 27 Aug 1729 Westmoeland Co. VA). Capt. Benjamin Berryman was a Justice of Peace in Westmoreland Co., VA, in 1703, and sheriff in 1716. Benjamin & Elizabeth (Newton) Berryman had daughter: Frances Berryman b. c1710 Washington parish; d before 28 Jun 1759; married 31 Dec 1731 Westmoreland Co., VA to George Foote, b. c1700 St. Paul's Parish, Stafford co. VA; d c1759 (Will proved 28 June 1759 Hamilton Parish, Fauquier Co., VA). George and Frances (Berryman) Foote had daughter: Frances Foote b. c1742 Fauquier Co., VA; d after 12 Oct 1807 Edgefield Co., SC. m. 2 Apr 1764 VA Captain Francis Moore, b. VA, d. 1770 Laurens Co., SC. Frances married before 25 Jan 1772, Laurens Co., SC to Moses Yarborough, b. c1735; d before 16 May 1773 Laurens Co. SC.
