Source: Passports of Southeastern Pioneers, 1770-1823 - GA "Executive Department Monday 25th May 1812 On application ORDERED That passports be prepared for the following persons to travel through the Indian Nations to the Western County, viz, One for Messrs. Joseph STALLWORTH with his wife two children and two Negroes, Amon MC MILLAN with his wife and three children and three Negroes, William MC MILLAN with his wife and three childre, and William SCOTT, all from *Abbeville District, One for Messrs. John HOLLIDAY, Senr. with his wife four children and eight Negroes, and John HOLLIDAY, Junr. with his wife two children and one slave, all from *EDGEFIELD DISTRICT, SOUTH CAROLINA. Which were presented and signed. Mr. William PRINCE, from *Union District, South Carolina, to travel through the Indian Nations to the Western Country, which was presented and signed." *Note the three SC counties in this one record.
