Can anyone tell me more about the family of Mary Allen, daughter of Josiah Allen Sr (1733-1781) and Elizabeth DeLoach Allen (1750-1843) who married Robert Christie. I am unable to prove that she is the daughter of Josiah and Elizabeth, nor that she married Robert Christie, and would appreciate any help there too. I see from a posting on rootsweb that this is said to have occurred, but would like to be able to prove the relationship. Robert Christie had a son named Josiah Allen Christie (my line), so this seems like a good fit. For this reason I have always suspected this relationship between Christie and Allen, but this is the first I have seen where this is reported to be so. Any help would be appreciated.
