Elizabeth DeLoach was the first wife of Josiah Allen. After Josiah Allen died, she had other marriages. Your Rev. Thomas DeLoach and Elizabeth DeLoach were brother and sister, if I remember correctly. Some of the Christie researchers think that possibly Robert Christie married one of the Allen girls, but we haven't been able to find her. The Elizabeth DeLoach who married Josiah Allen later married an Etheridge. We think that Robert Christie may have been the son of a William Christie. William Christie was born in Virginia and lived in Brunswick County, Virginia. His father was another Robert Christie, and his mother was Elizabeth Lamberth or Lambert.
