Please read this message carefully before taking any action. The migration of the Edgefield list has been rescheduled to 11 September, which might be confusing to some. We know the list as Edgefield, but the official name is SCEDGEFl, so it migrates with the Ss. This list is hands down the largest list I manage. We have 239 regular subscribers and 76 digest subscribers. Some of you may be subscribed in both modes. With the new software, you have to be one or the other, you can not be both a regular and a digest subscriber. If you are both, during the conversion, you will be automatically subscribed to the regular list. If you prefer the digest, you will have to unsubscribe as a regular subscriber and resubscribe as a digest subscriber. If you do not know how to do this, go to rootsweb.com and follow the links for mail lists. The other difficulty is that if you are a digest subscriber, and have been receiving your digest in MIME format, you will have to send me an e-mail requesting me to set you up in MIME format.. Please write to me personally at msvnhrn@jps.net, DO NOT MAKE YOUR REQUEST BY WAY OF THE LIST. Do not take any action, until after I notify the list that the migration has been completed. Wait a few days before moving from regular to digest, if you find yourself on the regular list and you want digest. Unfortunately, I will be out of town when the list is schedulted to migrate. I will have a computer with me and will check on progress or lack thereof. For those of you who need to be changed to MIME for the digest, I may not be able to respond as fast as I normally do, so have patience with me.
