There is also a reference to another William in the ledger as follows: 1 William CARTER b: Abt. 1756 d: October 27, 1826 Edgefield District, SC . +KATHERINE b: Abt. 1770 d: November 24, 1819 Edgefield Dist, SC It is assumed that these folks are connected to the Charles Carter m. Lydia Scurry family but the relationship is unknown to me.
