I am looking for the parents of the following PARKER children in early Edgefield District, South Carolina. I did a search at Genforum.com and at Rootsweb and found no one on this line. Two early Parker wills in Wooley's Edgefield will book do not seem to match from the information in the abstracts. Christian/a/ia Parker b.c. 1775 m. John Hatcher d. 1825, son of Benjamin and Lucy _?_Hatcher Elizabeth Parker m. 1st. before 1822 Reason Barnes d. 1822-1825 m. 2nd about 1826-1830 William Robertson d. 1849-1841 "both of advanced years when they married" Josie/Joseph Parker William Parker Benjamin Parker This information is suppose to be from Edgefield District, South Carolina, Equity Court case #805 filed in 1848. This is suppose to be titled Christian Hatcher vs Douglas Robertson. There is an Edgefield will abstract for Reason Barnes. There is also suppose to be a will for the William Robertson above dated 1840/1841 for which I only have dates, no will book or page number or Box and package numbers for the loose paper if there are any. I have ordered a copy of the will from the South Carolina Archives and I plan to order a copy of the Equity Court case. I will see what if anything I get back. My Hatcher line comes from Alfred b. c. 1800 d. after 1860, son of John Hatcher and Christian Parker. Any assistance appreciated.
