Dec 28 1873 Sep 12 1913 I believe this Mary Taylor may be in my line, a sister of my ancestor. Her maiden name is proven in the DC of her daughter: 1945 - Death Cert #02375, Aiken Co, SC Mrs. Emma T. Weatherford Female, White, Widow of J. D. Weatherford b.Oct 23, 1870, Aiken Co, SC father: James A. Taylor, b. Edgefield Co, SC mother: Mary DEAN, Aiken Co, SC* d. March 7, 1945, Aiken Co, SC cause: Carcinoma of Liver informant: Miss Pearl Weatherford, Aiken SC buried: Aiken, SC UT: D. M. George, Aiken, SC. *Aiken Co. not formed until 1870 from lower Edgefield and upper Barnwell Cos, with a little bit of Orangeburg and I think a wee portion of Lexington Counties, SC.     3. Obit from Augusta Chronicle Mar 8, 1945, pg. 2, column 2: Mrs. Emma Weatherford Dies at Aiken, S.C. AIKEN, S.C. - March 7 - Mrs Emma T. Weatherford, 74, widow of J. D. Weatherford, died at the residence this morning at 9:10 o'clock following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at four o'clock with the Rev. A.D. Howard officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany cemetery. Survivors include three daughters, Miss Pearl Weatherford and Mrs. T. W. Bethea, both of Aiken, and Mrs. Jack Snuggs, of Albemarle, N.
