Was in Georgia 1838, had 1 child there,Ann Adeliza. Witnessed a will as a J.P. and was indicted for Rape. In 1839 had 1 child, Mary Emily in Alabama. There is some suggestion of a child named Edwin. Bought property in Choctaw county Mississippi in Jan 1840. Lived there until his death Dec 1847. Have been chasing John's parentage since 1875 any and all clues appreciated.
