Hello List, I am a new Lister and have a request or three to see if anyone can help me. I am in search of John R. DELOACH and his two wives, Elizabeth SAWYER & Rebecca DELOACH SAWYER. John R. DeLoach was born 3/1804 to William DeLoach of Edgefield Co. SC and Elizabeth Gossett of Edgefield Co. John R. DeLoach married first Elizabeth Sawyer, 12/1281823 probably in Edgefield co. Elizabeth was born abt. 1805 Edgefield Co. Who were her parents? Siblings? Elizabeth died about 1833 in Crawford co GA. John R. then married Rebecca DeLoach Sawyer 12/1834 Crawford Co. GA. Rebecca was born 2/4/1804 Edgefield Co, SC. Who were her parents? Siblings? Rebecca was first married to Craven Sawyer, believed to be son of Lewis Sawyer and unknown. He was born abt. 1796 in Edgefield Co and died before 1830 possibly in GA. They had three children: Edna b. 1826 probably Edgefield Co, Wilson b. 1822 prob. Edgefield Co and John H. b. 1826.
