I had his parents in my files from other research, so attached him: CAYCE - Graveside services for Vernon W. Kempson, 79, of Cayce will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at noon in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday, December 17, 2006, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to LICS, 212 N. Church Street, Lexington, SC 29072; Epworth Children's Home, P.O. Box 50466 Columbia, SC 29250; or Canoeing For Kids, 114 Riverchase Court, Lexington, SC 29072. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Kempson passed away December 14,2006. Born December 18, l926, in Clinton, SC, he was the son of the late Leland A. and Eunice Trotter Kempson. He retired from CSX Railroad. Surviving are his daughters, Cindy (Franky) Westmoreland of Cayce and Candy (Jimmy) Walsh of Lexington; sons, Webb Kempson of Lexington, and Christopher (Deb) Kempson of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Trip and Adam Westmoreland, Hanna and Joshua Walsh; companion and family, Pat Revels, Christopher, Monica and Isa Revels, Michael, Haley, Anna, Brandi and Gracie.
