Mrs. Adams was born in Saluda, daughter of the late Berryman and Cora Elizabeth Bledsoe. She was a member of Gassaway United Methodist Church and she was very faithful to her church, serving in various roles, and singing in the choir until her hospitalization a year ago. She was a blessing to many and was blessed by many. The family appreciates the kind, loving care extended to her by her "favorite doctor," Dr. Ralph Riley, and his staff and the staff of Saluda Nursing Center. We are thankful for everyone who shared time and love with Mama, especially Laurie Ann Vaughn, her niece and her fishing buddy. And to Eland and Jan Chapman, Melvin, Colleen, George and Kathy Deloache, and Rev. Tina Thomas, who brightened her days with their visits, and Mama's grandson, Brock Adams, who devoted so much of his time and attention before and during her nursing home stay. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Gassaway United Methodist Church c/o Melvin Deloache, 140 Simmons Road, Saluda, SC 29138. Milton Shealy Funeral Home of Batesburg-Leesville is assisting the family with arrangements. In looking at my files, I have her as the daughter of 1 John B. Bledsoe b: Abt. 1872 in SC .. +Unknown d: Bef. 1930 ..... 2 Earl Bledsoe b: Abt. 1899 in SC ......... +Maggie Unknown b: Abt. 1904 in SC m: Abt. 1930 ..... 2 Rhett Bledsoe b: Abt. 1910 in SC ..... 2 Winnie Bledsoe b: Abt. 1912 in SC ..... 2 Perry Bledsoe b: Abt. 1914 in SC The fact that she is survived by a brother Perry Bledsoe seems to confirm this. Now I know the mother and you can add her desc. to your excel file. Billie
