Brenda, I was looking up some Reardens today in the 1900 census and found this record of a Floyd Whitte. Wonder if he is the same William Floyd Whitte that I have attached to Wilson Whittle (ca1821) md Hepseba (b. ca 1824). I don't know if you have researched him, as I don't have any connections to your Stricklands in the info. I have. I got this working on a Quattlebaum question. My notes on Floyd Whittle now include the 1900 census and if they are the same, it proves a 2nd marriage about 1884.
