    3. Another Corley The Augusta Chronicle from 1/13/2007 - 1/14/2007 Corley Jr., James F. "Buck"* NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral services for Mr. James F. "Buck" Corley, Jr., 73, of Beverly Circle, North Augusta, SC., who died January 12, 2007, will be conducted Monday morning at 11 o'clock from the Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home. Interment in Sunset Memory Gardens. Mr. Corley was a lifelong resident of North Augusta. He was a former employee of the Graniteville Company, a retired Contractor and was a member of the Baptist faith. Mr. Corley was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Helen Seigler Corley; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Debbie Corley and Danny and Rhonda Corley, all of North Augusta; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Dennis McKinnon, North Augusta and Gloria and Kenneth Beverly, Graniteville; one brother, Edward Corley, Evans; two sisters, Susie Hagood, Augusta and Ruby Couch, Langley; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers will be Trey Brock and Will Evans. Active Pallbearers will be Adam Corley, Jason Corley, Mark McKinnon, Steven McKinnon, David Beverly and Michael Beverly. Corley, 83, will be held 10 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2007, at Zion Lutheran Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, January 14, 20Q7, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Born April 5,1923, in Lexington County, he was a son of the late Walter Luther Corley and Ella Kaminer Corley. He was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church and a WWII veteran. Mr. Corley retired from South Carolina Electric and Gas and then continued to enjoy farming, hunting and the blessings of his wide circle of friends. He was a loving husband, a wonderful father and a devoted grandfather. Mr. Corley is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Margaret Wages Corley; daughters and sons-in-law, Lenna and Col. Lance Young of Seneca, SC, Cindy and Jim Waters of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Rose Elizabeth Waters, Margaret Anne Waters, Michael James Waters and Caroline Corley Waters; brother, M.K. Corley of Lexington; and sister, Gladys Lafever of Columbia, SC.
