Corley, 83, will be held 10 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2007, at Zion Lutheran Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, January 14, 20Q7, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church Building Fund, 226 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072 or to the charity of one's choice. Mr. Corley passed away at home Friday, January 12,2007. Born April 5,1923, in Lexington County, he was a son of the late Walter Luther Corley and Ella Kaminer Corley. He was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church and a WWII veteran. Mr. Corley retired from South Carolina Electric and Gas and then continued to enjoy farming, hunting and the blessings of his wide circle of friends. He was a loving husband, a wonderful father and a devoted grandfather. Mr. Corley is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Margaret Wages Corley; daughters and sons-in-law, Lenna and Col. Lance Young of Seneca, SC, Cindy and Jim Waters of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Rose Elizabeth Waters, Margaret Anne Waters, Michael James Waters and Caroline Corley Waters; brother, M.K. Corley of Lexington; and sister, Gladys Lafever of Columbia, SC.
