    3. The following Obituary of Vera Derrick Boatwright was published in "The State", Nov, 28, 2006. It did NOT give her date of death. If someone has the Augusta Chronicle obit, would you please see if the actual date is published in that paper. Vera D. Boatwright NEW HOLLAND - Mrs. Vera Derrick Boatwright, 76, entered into rest. Mrs. Boatwright was the daughter of the late David Irvin Derrick and Sue Cook Derrick Durrough. She was the widow of James 0. Boatwright and a member of New Holland Baptist Church. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Allison Tyler of Wagener and Janet and Michael Clarke of Aiken, grandchildren, Carmen Nicole Tyler, James Wesley Tyler, Travis Edward Pack and Brian Patrick and Rosemary Pack, great-grandchild, Brayden Pack, sister, Bobbie D. Nunn of Wagener, brother, Jimmy I. Derrick of New Ellenton, nieces and nephews, Debbie Ryals, Johnny "Buddy" Nunn, Myra Derrick, Mike Derrick, Greg Derrick and Jennifer Rosamond. The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 29th, at 2 p.m. at New Holland Baptist Church, Rev. Owen McAlister and Dr. Wallace C. Lowe officiating. Mrs. Boatwright will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the New Holland Baptist Church Building Fund or Cemetery Fund at 2279 New Holland Road, Wagener, SC 29164. Burial will be in New Holland Cemetery.
