[Source: DC #6063, Orangeburg Co, SC where I believe she was living or visitin with a daughter John R. Rearden b. 4-21-1868 d. 8-25-1935. [Didn't get to his yet] Ida is buried as follows: Rearden, Evelyn C. Jan 6 1894 - Dec 8 1907 Rearden, Winnifred Nov 4 1903 - Jul 19 1935 *Rearden, Ida POWELL Mar 11 1869 - May 25 1943 Rearden, John R. Apr 21 1868 - Aug 25 1935 I looked up the above Ida in the Death cert. and just have not gotten it typed up. She is the dau. of James Powell, Aiken Co and (Cloven) Powell, Aiken Co. [Doesn't help when the death cert. is unreadable or filled out incompletely. However, note the Ida B. Powell listed below listed in another plot: ***Powell, Herbert W. Jun 17 1857 Apr 12 1929 ***Powell, Ida YONN Dec 9 1860 Mar 11 1941 **Faulkner, Melzer O.. 1898 1949 Powell, William G. 1855 1928 *Powell, Ida B. 1869 1943 note that the two Ida's have same birth year and death year????? Did she marry William G. Powell who d. in 1928 then marry John Rearden and they placed a marker at both locations??? Then there is Ida Ouzts who married Elijah Melvin Faulkner and had a son Melzer Odell Faulker with the dates **1898 - 1949. (see above) He married a Grace Powell. According to info. just received from Larry Scott, she was the daughter of the ***Herbert W. and ***Ida Youn Powell also listed above. On top of that, Melzer O. Faulkner had a sister Grace Lucille Powell. Folks, I am about to pull my hair out. Any help would be appreciated on proof of what families these folks belonged to.
