Hi, Billie and Debra. This family definitely had a habit of recycling names! Gasper Gallman (b. 1749, d. 24 Sep 1819) and Jemima Sellers (d. 17 Nov 1827) left three surviving sons: 1) Harmon (12 Feb 1779 - 28 May 1871); Benjamin (23 Oct 1780 - 5 Oct 1855); and 3) Daniel (will signed 26 May 1829). They did not have a daughter named Jemima. The Gasper Gallman who married Fannie McClendon on 21 Nov 1838 in Edgefield was the son of Daniel and Lydia Gallman, so the grandson of Gasper and Jemima Gallman. Daniel and Lydia had a second child, Jemima, who was a minor in 1829. She married James Arthur on 14 Dec 1834 in Edgefield. I haven't seen a Jemima born in ~1810 who would carry the surname Gallman in 1850. Benjamin Gallman and wife Sarah ("Sally") Ryan (d. 1860, widow of George B. Moore in 1806) did not have a daughter named Jemima, per his 1855 will. Can't be your Jemime Sellers Gallman if she was born ca 1757, but probably connected No Gasper in 1850 Edgefield.
