And we know that at least 4 of Charles Carters children, per my memory, maybe 5, left Edgefield for Coweta Co, GA. One question that comes to mind that might be a negative is that the husband of Willa Mathew's Carter is NOT a Junior, as his father was Charles Carter, unless he was named Jr. to distinguish him from an older John Carter of the area. I have found that done in church records, even with women. Again, we find attachments of groups of folks from Southside VA to Edgefield and on to other areas.
